Feeling Better
Went to the doctor today and Blake is feeling MUCH better!! We do not have to do anymore breathing treatments, and I believe that the steriods are pretty much worn off. My goal for his oxygen level was 98% but he held it at a good 95 and when she was shutting the machine off it went to 96%, so she turned it back on and he could hold it at 96%! Not as good as I would of liked but the doctor was happy about that! We're just glad to not have to do any more treatments!

Fun Day!
We had a good day, playing in the snow, once the wind stopped. Blake had a ton of fun, it was actually gorgous outside. You'll have to check out some of our pics from the day!

Blakers Update
We are doing better. We have bumped down his treatments to three a day, and we are thinking tomorrow to go to two a day until Monday's checkup appointment. I have been battling something. I've lost my voice and am just very tired, but it could be worse. We only have one more dose of the steriods thank goodness. The doctor was right they have made his appetite raise and has made him have mood swings. It is crazy. Can't wait for them to slow down hopefully the meds will be worn off by Sunday.... I'll let you all know how Monday's follow up appointment goes. Just hoping for higher oxygen levels.
Maybe I'll get to put some playing in snow pictures on here? Well if the wind dies down.

Blakers is ''Sick''
So well he's not really 'sick' but he is just starting to have some of the loving after effects of his RSV bout. On Wednesday he developed a cough (which he's had on and off since RSV) It hadn't seemed to bad until Saturday night, when he had some medicine and it seemed to help. Yesterday though on our drive back home from KC it started to get progressivly worse and worse. By dinner time it was starting to hurt him and he was coughing atleast every 10 seconds. I gave him a cough supresent which didn't seem to do any good. So I later gave him some triaminic PM so he could sleep, but it didn't seem to help either, so I decided to give him a breathing treatment, and call this morning for a doctors appointment. The doctor listened to him and checked is Oxygen Saturation levels. He read at 91% (not great, you are supposed to be at 95 or above), so they gave him another breathing treatment at his appointment. After that his Oxygen levels were at 95 so that was good. But becuase of this we are supposed to give him a breathing treatment every 4 hours (unless he asleep without coughing, then I can let him sleep). We also are going to give him 4 days worth of steriods to hopefully get over this bout. Essentially she said it is asthmatic symptoms, which we were told he had a high chance of getting because of the RSV, and the fact that Nick has Asthma. Still if this is the worst of things then we will take that! We'll see how the steriods go, the Dr. warned us they taste really bad then the pharmasist said that we would probably just have to hold him down and put it down his throat. (Not excited about that).
